I think that Effie was my favorite part of the film. The level of delusion and denial in the Capital people's lives intrigues me, and I wonder how they justify what goes on.
That is the most epic beard in the world.

i would have loved a pov from someone in the capitol!!!! what could they be thinking as they watched the small ones slaughtered? and the whole sponsorship connection. at least that i can understand. many like to feel as though they have the power of life and death over someone.
i also wanted a pov from someone in another district but alas....

It's kind of weird...I don't ACTIVELY dislike it and I can't really put my finger on what it is that I DIDN'T like...but I was so bored, antsy and restless for most of it.
I enjoyed the performances by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Lenny Kravitz.
I guess I felt like some of the changes were a bit detrimental to the storytelling and character development.
