Midas writing and pictures of No Min Woo

Mar 25, 2011 13:12

I am so obsessed with "Midas" that I have been doing nothing this morning but intensely researching the drama's cast and creators. It appears that the writer, Choi Wan Kui, is the guy that wrote scripts for many good dramas: "IRIS", "The Kingdom of the Wind", "Lobbyist", "Jumong" ,"All in", etc. etc. I think I know now why the drama appealed to me ( Read more... )

LDJALSKDJLASKDHASD NO MIN WOO IS AWESOME IN RRR, OMG! GO WATCH IT RIGHT AWAY! Am-addiction has it (it's hidden in one of the drama special threads. I'll PM the link as soon as I find it) and WITHS2 released the subs. \o/

Ooooh and piccies, yay! *stares*

Re: Swallow the sun is on my to-watch list. ^^ Maybe we could watch it together someday? Btw, I've read mixed reviews about it.

IKR! I don't like his reviews because he likes SG. I just don't like how he phrases his opinions. I mean, hm, people may disagree on a lot of things and that's totally okay. I just don't like when, reading a review, I feel insulted because I don't agree with the writer? If that makes sense?

** Nods ** This is what I mean: when some takes his/her subjective opinion and tries to turn it into an objective one (regardless obvious in-your-face problems, like in the Secret Garden case the whole coma extravaganza) - this doesn't usually read well.

Are you guys going to discuss about StS somewhere? I doubt I'll pick it up but I'd love to read your thoughts about it. :)

ep 1 StS blueocean80 March 28 2011, 01:53:39 UTC
Dude, I LOVED it! I'm usually iffy about premieres and even MORE cautious when the premiere is a childhood ep, but wow, I was hooked. Also? Doomed!OTP FTW! Man, I shipped Mi Yeon/Il-hwan almost immediately and there you go, they're doomed.

I'm not quite sure how I'll like the non-childhood eps, but man, I hope the lead guy gets to find his parents (maybe there'll be a reunion? I can only dream) and gets the girl in the end. The preview at the end of the ep looked awesome. Also? Lee Wang! Ji Sung! *flails*

I'm not quite sure about the whole Africa thing. *chinhands*

Anyhow, the whole sequence at the beginning? With the images of the fights alternated to those of the dance? Awesome!

I don't rely on blogs and reviews that much anymore. I mean, I watch a drama and if I like it, I like it; if I don't, I don't and that's pretty much it.

Unless of course I see more than one of my friends raving about the same drama, in which case I'm all over it in an instant. ^^

Ack, I forgot how much I relied on editing comments. I'm going to miss that feature.

I am the same. But I am largely "find pattern and logic in everything" kinda girl, so I can't help to take people's opinions and make some logic out of them too. If it makes sense.

You can't edit comments anymore?

Makes sense, but it must be a tough thing to do.

Nope. I let my paid account expire and I don't want to give LJ more money. So...*shrugs*

Hee! I do it instinctively, I think It is like with shipping - I don't really aim for it, but somehow I always tend to go for the canon pairing even if it seems not canon from the beginning (like in Chuno). Weird brain!

Oh noes! I thought basic accounts can edit comments too, has it changed?

I do the canon shipping instinctively myself except in some rare cases. Chuno, for example. LOL I was aaaaaaaaaall about Daegil/Seol-hwa. Heh.

Yep. I upgraded to a plus account so I can at least enjoy 15 icons instead of 6, but editing comments are for paid users only. Boo.
