Happy International Womens day!!!!!

I think I must have said this millions of times, but I don't really like "Mother's day" (celebrated in the UK on the fourth Sunday in Lent ) , the holiday has a problem by definition - What about women who lost their mothers or their children? "Mother's" day may not be the happiest time for these women. But this doesn't stop me from greatly ( Read more... )

Happy Women's Day back to you, dear ♥!

I only considered this to be Mother's Day when I was a kid; since I entered my teen years I assumed it was dedicated to all women, which of course allowed me to get present as well ;D. But even as smaller children, boys used to give us girls little presents (if they liked us enough >.>)!

Do you mean 8th of March? Yes, usually this one is for ALL women, young and old.

Or "on the fourth Sunday in Lent" - a separate holiday we have here in th UK, which is specifically called MOTHERS day , when children give presents to their mothers (and only mothers, well, sometimes grandmothers too, but never to just a girl next door). I am not sure I like this one..
