On Bednaya Nastya, Daniil Srahov and Angel

EEEEEEEE! I am in "Russian" period because awesome and fabulous dangermousie (to whom I am forever thankful) sent me THE MOST ADDICTIVE thing in the universe or Russian tv-novella "Bednaya Nastya" (or "Poor Nastya"). Not to confuse things, the main heroine is called Anna and she is in the most delicious master/serf, yin/yang, bad boy/lovely girl relationship

Angel is love! I agree with you about the fact that I also thought/think Angel is better than Buffy, or at least, I love the series more than I do Buffy, even when Buffy was a love of mine :S

I know what you mean about Buffy vs Angel. I loved both shows, and esspecially loved their end seasons, just coz they were so damned good, but Angel is a darker story, able to have plots that buffy couldn't in the earlier. ^__^

Oh and just Vampire love aswell! XD

I bought "Deti Arbata" for my husband, but of course, it's not subtitled. Sigh! I would just like to say, however, that Daniil Strahov's hotness needs no translation, and also in "Deti Arbata" he removes his shirt and he is very fit indeed. Plus, the dimples!!!

You know me, I see resemblances everywhere.. but I really think that Daniil Strahov look a bit like younger Pullo on the last two pictures, especially the one before last. THE SMIRK!

I am sure you can pick Russian pretty fast - you know more than two languages very well! At least to the point of understanding what is going on in "Bednaya Nastya". :D I, on the other hand, am feeling very nostalgic. :D

I am in middle of ep 63 (even with my short attention span) and it just gets yummier and yummier as it goes along.

You haven't given up on Buffy have you?

I like Angel because of it's darkness and no school which I found kind of boring on Buffy after a while. By the time you get to season 5 of Buffy they don't even talk about college all that much. You know what I got tired of on Buffy? Buffy herself.

As far as Angel goes I fast forwarded through quite a few episodes near the end of season 4 because it was so so bad(this is my opinion of course). Then it got better in season 5. Seasons 1 and 2 of Angel are awesome though. I'm not a huge Angel fan. I like him OK, I just find him a little expressionless. Although he has his moments.

I always fast forward through the title music score of Buffy. I listen to the first part of the Angel title score because it's beautiful, then they add the funky beat to it and I always wish they hadn't.

Oh, no! But I have watched mostly "Angel" this week . I find that when I watch I get involved with one thing at a time!!

I was a little disappointed that the season 4 started with Buffy feeling down again. I would like more of the kick-ass Buffy. As much as I like angst sometimes I prefer Buffy in her happy form, she doesn't angst well. :D

I am so-so about Angel himself. I liked his relationship with Buffy at first but it became stale at the end on the season 3 of "Bffy". The actor is not strong on facial expressions but he has some doomed cursed beauty..
