The hell? I'm sorry, but that really seems like a pretty girls only moment. Waller is one of the best, longest running if relatively obscure characters in DC. If they wanted the glamor version they could've resurrected her daughter.

Seriously. And while she is relatively obscure, compared to Batman or Superman, she was a major player in the animated universe so it's not like she doesn't have a boatload of fans now old enough to have their own money for buying comics.

DC Comics, this woman is not The Wall.

She's barely even The Partition.

As always, you cut to the heart of it, and you do so wittily.

Thank you.

All you see is collarbone up and still they managed to make her look anorexic.

I, as well, have not seen the Green Lantern, so I cannot judge how well Bassett embodied Waller, but she was by far not their only choice, even if they did want to "sexy the character up." They very well could have gotten Jennifer Hudson, who we all know can act from Dreamgirls, and have her gain back a few of those Weight Watcher pounds for the role. Not only is she sexy and beautiful, and was also sexy and beautiful before she lost the weight, she looks much more classically like Waller than Bassett does.
