My impression is DC's reboot occurred in less than ideal circumstances, so I'm glad they managed to pull off as much with the mythology and characterizations as they did. The skipped plot point dampened my enthusiasm, but seeing both Lex and Clark done well (rather than one or the other) gave me hope that DC might pull this off.
