The door to the roof of the Ungar Building was open... it's like a secret door that only I know about, can only be reached by taking the stairs from the fifth floor.
It leads to the astronomical observatory... which it seems that no one uses any more. The door to the actual telescopes building is locked... but the view from the roof is astounding.
lunch!!! on tuesdays or thursdays maybe? or between 12 and 1 on the other days? maybe?? possibly? and i love roof top views!! they are always my favorite places to go for thinking and just being for a while. amazing views, windy and peaceful. except most roofs at miami are always locked or have frightening signs about fire alarms.
Hm... well, Thursdays would work. I'm free from 2 to 3:30... I don't know when you're free on Thursday.
I hope they leave the door unlocked again, we can go up. The view is great, and there are no scary signs either. Yes, come with me next time, so I don't seem like such a baffoon. We can gawk over the telescopes together!
