Title: Sunset On A Pavilion Fountain
Summary: This is a small collection of one-shots/drabbles(?) and basically just snapshots of Alex and Olivia's subtextual relationship -- what could've been, eh? Hope you guys like it... I don't usually do fanfic.
Pairing: Alex/Olivia.
Rating: Probably PG-13, PG-15. M?
Disclaimer: The only things I own are the words on this page. Everything else belongs to Dick Wolf and NBC etcetc.
Then, after a long comfortable silence as the cool air intensifies with evening descending, Alex asks, "What do you think about the most?"
Olivia doesn't have to think about it. "My mother."
She's not surprised, but Alex says anyway, "Really?"
"I wonder if I could have helped her more," Olivia replies simply and, maybe not wanting to talk about it much, she returns Alex's question. "You?"
There is a pause before Alex answers. "I think about sex a lot," she admits quietly, first darting a glance at the keen brown-eyed gaze, then hooking her fingers together under her knees and averting her eyes.
----------------------------------------------------
She smells the sweat and the sex and it arouses her even more as the orgasm rips through her body. She's never come this hard, this fast, before.
-----------------------------------------------------
"You take ruthless advantage of my vulnerable infatuation."
"Of course. Is there any other way?"
-----------------------------------------------------
It's different to how she remembers it. The lambent light of the setting sun dances and flickers off the heavy sheen of dust that has made its home on the barren furniture.
She should've had it covered.
------------------------------------------------------
Alex loves her like nothing can describe. It sounds so painfully cliche, but then it is pain she feels when Olivia leaves at 2-30AM to answer Elliot's call of a dead body found in some alley somewhere, and Alex selfishly wonders if Olivia will ever hasten to her side like she hastens to a vic's.
