Alex continued to hold Olivia as she quietly spilled her pain into her. Olivia leaned back but didn’t let go of Alex, just enough to look into her eyes. “I don’t want to be this person,” She said as she shook her head, looking down, unable to hold eye contact.
Alex touched Olivia’s face. “Then let me inside. You scare me sometimes, Olivia.”
“I know. I scare myself.” Olivia was holding onto Alex as if it were she holding her up. It has been ages since she’s been this vulnerable… and it was Alex who caused this change deep within her heart.
Olivia felt lightheaded suddenly and Alex’s face became a blur before her. Her knees were weak and it felt as if they would give any minute. “Do you love me, Alex? I think I’ll die if you don’t love me…” Olivia couldn’t stand any longer and started to fall as Alex tried to hold her up then supported her down to the ground holding her head in her arms…
