I have to take issue with your Obama statement in the prolog. In a democracy, people are free to choose whether they like their head of government or not. Here in Tampa, FL, there are many Haitians. Many of the older ones left their country precisely because they felt that the government of the Duvaliers was illegitimate and therefore did not deserve their loyalty.

It is a joke. It is something I do in every disclaimer. I am making fun of America and the inability of certain factions in THIS country to allow gay people to live and let live. I am NOT saying anything about the political climate of countries I do not live in. If you look at the disclaimers on ALL my stories (Not asking you to read 'em, just look at the disclaimers) you will see that disclaimer #3 always contains a joke about America's issues with homosexuality. I am not making a statement about Haiti or anywhere else.

Also, just as there is freedom to choose, there is freedom of speech. It works both ways. I do not agree with 1/10 of the crap I see and hear everyday but if I worked myself into a dither I would be angry my whole life. It was not meant the way you interpreted it. Rest assured that I am making no statement on the politics of any country but mine.
