Ok so Zack has died of old age and jack and Alex are both immortal except jack doesn't want them to be together because he didnt want anyone finding out bc they wouldn't be accepted
So that's why he says to Alex I can't do it not yet
And Alex says he's ok with waiting
They finally get together
But jack still feels guilty, and seperates himself away from Alex cus he can't rally be with Alex without feeling bad about it
Every now and then him and Alex get together like sexually and Alex will always say yes but it's never gonna be a permanent thing bc jack just can't accept it
