When Alan Rickman showed up to the Bottle Shock set, the first thing he saw was the car he was meant to drive in the film, an ancient and beaten Gremlin. Rickman’s first response, in his unique voice, was, “A Gremlin. Why would one buy such a thing?” Director Randy Miller found a strange magic in this, and added the line to the script.
