Wow Alex, this was... hot! Thanks! If HHOW wasn't down right now I'd run over there to rec this (and the Limericks-follow-up as well). I particularly liked House feeling somewhat uneasy about spanking Chase, with the parallels with John House and all, and Wilson picking up on this, that was very insightful. The hurt/comfort thing was really sweet too, in a very genuine way. At first I felt really bad for Chase because he was crying and didn't seem to like it at all, but he did get something out of it in the end. And they had hot, hot sex. I'm jealous of Wilson.... I wish I could watch House and Chase fuck inches away from my eyes.

One tiny grammar nitpick: The who in "House, who he loved..." should be changed to whom.

Thanks! You're right about the who/whom, but that line is in Chase's POV and I can't see him saying (thinking, whatever) "whom," so I'm gonna leave it like that.

I felt bad for Chase not liking it, too, but when I referenced this event in Six Months and Counting, I said that he hadn't, so I felt I had to stick with that. He wasn't, like, traumatized or anything, but it didn't do much for him. :)
