I just read the whole thing on AOS. Its wonderful. I love the way that Bruce says " But you said he was a weak fighter". I like the general cluelessness of Thor and the way that he isn' t equipped to to ask the right questions. I like the description of atoms in Asgard sorceror terms. Really fun.

Thanks for commenting! Thor not really being able to grok how the curse works--because sorcery requires a mind as twisty as a corkscrew, and he is almost painfully straightforward--was originally going to be a much bigger part of the fic, but then the other stuff about culture clashes and internalized racism and what it means to be a monster ended up taking over.

It's late, so this comment may not be very coherent, but... this was GLORIOUS! <333

I adored every bit of this fic - especially Loki's scheming, his evasiveness, his glee when scoring even a small victory. Not to mention everyone else: special mention for Tony's snark! Your characterization is absolutely wonderful.

And the resolution was a revelation, an alliance between Loki and Jarvis of all things! Very clever and immensely plausible.

This is going straight into my memories so that I can enjoy a proper reread. Thank you so much!

Glad you liked! Loki and Jarvis teaming up seemed so obvious, once I thought of it. My headcanon is that Loki and Tony really have a lot in common--intelligent, snarky, privileged backgrounds, daddy issues out the wazoo--so it makes sense that Jarvis would be one of the first of the Tower's residents to understand and like Loki.

Loved this. I am often reluctant to read Loki fics because of how the fandom tends to deal with him, but I've loved many of you're other fics and so I thought I'd give it a try. And I'm super happy I did. You did a great job of not diminishing the atrocities that Loki committed while still integrating him into the Avengers - even if just as a roommate. I loved everything about this. =^_^= It was such a great story. eheheh

Glad you liked! I think Loki's an interesting character, and the fannish impulse (which I share) to want to sympathize with him and rehabilitate him because he's hot and wounded makes him even more interesting. The puzzle is, how do you do that without shoving all the bad things he did under the rug?

GOOD LORD! This was GLORIOUS!!!! I love this fic so very very very much!

Loki is so Loki. And all the other charater are perfet IC. You analyze them so well and I always wanted to read some plot with Loki on the good side but without falling in the OOC and this is just that!I want this plot as an actual movie now. You should sent the fic to marvel studio right now XD Great Great Great!!!!

I know this comment does not make any sense, but is just that I'm too thrilled about this wonderful story I just finished reading that I can think of something more clever XD The best after "The avangers" story I ever read!

Thanks for commenting! I tried hard to keep everyone in character, and not make Loki too "nice."

I really enjoyed this! I loved the different points of view, they all made perfect sense for the characters. I especially liked the way Bruce so carefully distinguished between what was practical and what was ethical. Thanks for a great read!
