This is wonderful; so sad and filled with emotion.

I loved how you focused on this point in time, fleshed it out, and focused on the details that I've never thought about before, like burring Jess's belongings, the eulogy, Jess's family, and the technicalities with Sam leaving Standford.

You captured the brothers and their relationship so well here; still sort of unfamiliar and awkward after time apart, but Dean desperate to be there for Sam and support him. I also loved how Dean blamed himself for what happened even though Sam keeps telling him he's not (and of curse we know that Sam blames himself because of the visions).

I really enjoyed this. Thank you so much for sharing :)

thank you so much! I love love love the beginning of SPN, it's just got such a unique flavor to it - looking back they were such innocent little babies compared to all they've been through since, and yet when you really think about it they never really were that innocent at all and you're (or at least I am) just kind of stuck in this weird brand of nostalgia for something totally-fucked-up-but-so-much-less-fucked-up-than-it-is-now. XD
