Whoo Hoo! I've been waiting and watching for this. I'm so glad you were able to finish it! This sounds amazing. I absolutely love that Dean, wounded and worried for Sam, would turn to Don for help. And Don's quandry of having a duty to perform and having a debt to pay shows not only his dedication to his job, but, when he agreed to help Dean, his character as a man. I am so very glad that you post every day - and eight chapters to go! - I will get up early every morning to read the new installment. See you tomorrow.

This has taken ages to write, hopefully it will have been worth the wait.

I so love have Don and Dean together, they just seem to work well for some reason. Even if perhaps Don thinks otherwise! They will have their ups and downs and hopefully no one will be too far OOC...

Neat plot device, the Winchesters think they're catching a demon, and all of a sudden they're back in the world of Numb3rs. Serial killers seem to take the place of demons in the cop show narrative of good and evil.
