As in the last year, I traveled to ski to Ukraine for one week. The financial crisis is still ongoing in Belarus, so I could not afford the Alps or the Caucasus Mountains this year.

During a visit to my parents I went to Kreva. It's about 110 km from Minsk. Kreva is a township in Belarus. In the old days it was the capital of Kreva Duchy, and later it was the town in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.The wooden castle stood here before, that after 1338 the Lithuanian prince Algirdas turned into a brick castle. RIP Joe Rocco. May the winds carry him to a better place
Joe Rocco died windsurfing Hurricane Irene on August 28, 2011. He was an experienced 68-year-old windsurfer. He hit a piece of debris floating just beneath the surface, and was catapulted badly into something large and hard in the water.
If it is destined to die, I think it is better such way than with vodka or from diseases.
