Is there really a post-season depression? Or am I just extremly gullible (and a gullible hypochondriac at that ...)?

yes, seriously. It was posted in the Daily Telegraph or the Times last summer or the summer before that. Apparently it's a big thing in the UK. People see so many matches ect on tv and than it all suddenly stops and they can't handle it.

Oh wow, I'd never heard of it (sheltered US girl here). I usually feel like I have nothing to do, but not really depressed. Only when I look back on England's loss in Euro 04. :-/

I'm exhausted, and a little sick. Everyone has a bug so I have to carry on. The shop next door is being renovated with jack-hammers, which isn't helping. I'm planning on making a highlight tape of last season during the break, and hopefully the dvd "England's path to Portugal" will reach this side of the world.

I got the man u shirts 8 or 9 years ago. They are my babies. They go with me on each holiday. I want the new Man U too but it's too expensive.

I've heard of post season/tournament depression. Apparently it is a significant cause of reltionship breakdown.
Sorry to hear that your back is still troubling you.
