I'm going back thru LJ because I've only skimmed over the last few weeks.
This is wonderful. It has an intriguing feel....the boy feels lost, and sad. I like your technique here.

thanks. I was a little inspired (loosely) by the illustrator/painter Andrea Ventura and some stuff of his I saw in Discover magazine. I like taking photos of my kids when they're not posing - and expressing a range of emotions other than the standard portrait smile/grimace.

I really love the expressiveness of your line, color and brushwork in general & esp. in the aquaduct paintings. I need to come visit and see them in person.
