Oh wow. This was so good that I'm willing to over look the angst. You did an excellent job portraying all the character's and the sex scene was wonderfully hot and touching the way you described Kirk's view of Spock. Of course Spock freaked out and ran. Silly Vulcan. This was very very good and thank you for sharing.
Awww, thank you! I'm so glad you could look past the angst - I know a lot of people aren't into that (and I'm usually among them, believe it or not)! Agreed on the "silly Vulcan"... at least he gets better. It just takes a giant computer almost frying his brains first. Thanks so much for commenting!
This has to be my favorite K/S story. I really love all the angst, you write that very well. your descriptions of the jupiter station--and the domes and even the glowing water a few scenes before that-- along with Kirk's internal reactions to Spock is perfect. This is what made it such a joy to illustrate. It was so easy to come up with ideas, due to all the wonderful juicy descriptive prose. I wish i could write like this! I really do

Awww bb, you've warmed my heart so much with this comment! I'm really, really flattered my story could provide good artistic inspiration for you! The fact that you wish you had more time and gravitated toward it even in the claims is such high praise.
Anyway, I'm very glad the unresolved ending sat well with you. I was (and still am) worried about that, because hell, I'm not big on sad fics myself. Yet I'm inflicting this on the world! Not sure how that happened. And I'm right there with you on the Spock-mourning. I would really love to explore where his head is in the future, but I can't make any promises with a "fandom projects" list a dozen items long

Oh this was just beautiful! I would normally run a mile from a warning like that but I have just recently started to read TOS and with knowing I'd just watched TMP for the first time too marlee813 persuaded me that this was a must read. I'm so glad she did and it's really whetted my appetite for more TOS now. My head canon has them getting together quite late on for some reason, maybe because movie-era Shat is my favourite, so this was perfect for me (it happens much sooner for their reboot counterparts because Prime!Spock makes sure Jim's knows it's an inevitability and he wears Nu!Spock down much sooner :D).
I'm not very good at commenting so I can't really explain what I loved about it - but I really, really did! Thank you :)
Ooooh, I'm so glad to have grabbed you at a good time in your fandom exploration! I feel like the reader needs to have seen TMP recently or soon after this to get the best possible context. And I'm pretty much the same as you with my head-canon; even though I love to read and write TOS stories in which they get together earlier, I don't really believe the idea, you know? Reboot is much more flexible. Thanks so much for commenting, and I apologize for the late reply! :D
I'm very happy to hear you appreciated that line and scene for what they were! I love hearing other peoples' impressions of the overall arc, and the way you phrased everything is so spot-on with what I intended. The setup for potential problems, the nature of their relationship, etc. It's nice to know that came through strongly for you! "Believable" is seriously the highest praise I could ever hope for with this story, because it was such a new challenge for me to attempt canon-compliance.
And you know, I really think we K/S fans get the most enjoyment out of TMP because we're the only ones who can explain why everyone acts the way they do! Thanks for commenting - I'm ridiculously flattered, and I really appreciate it!
