Oh how sweet!!

I think you should go for it!! Get the camera. Before you know it all of your girls will be grown and out of the house. You should capture the moments before it is too late.

I only realized this morning you'd made a comment 3 days ago. Sorry about that. I'm SO torn about this camera issue. I know we need some kind of camera, but I want a digital SLR instead of a point-and-shoot. Even the entry level digital SLR's have great picture quality and they're much more versatile. However, decent point-and-shoot cameras run anywhere from $200 to $400 less. That's a large chunk of change this time of year.

Quite alright. Usually I am not the quickest in responses either.

These are my thoughts......

Money is only money. It can be made just like it can be spent. The memories you share with your loves ones cannot be replaced but can be preserved and remembered through photos.

Get the camera. You will thank yourself later for going ahead and getting it.

You should remind Mary of the "boon" event and if you have pictures you should have them out when she has friends over.

I mean the whole point of being a parent is to embrass your kids like your parents did to you. ;-D

(I came home from high school one day to find my mother tell a room full of women how my brother & I once peed one the backstairs to see who could pee further. We were 6 & 5 at the time)

I just noticed I got replies from this LJ entry so forgive me if I bring up something that's 3 days old. LOL

I actually have the "boon" event on videotape. The only problem is, we can't find the video tape. I know it's around here somewhere. Perhaps when we find it, I'll have it transferred to DVD and then post the clip. That should be sufficiently embarrassing, don't you think?
