Has she completely ruled out the University of Missouri? They have one of the best programs in the United States as far as I am concerned. I believe my bosses DVM was out of LSU. His other doctorate is out of the University of Missouri (his one in Computer Science). I guess I biased towards Mizzou since I know several vets that have gotten their degrees from there (those inclue 3 of the 4 doctors who work on our animals plus the vet that my parents take Nubs to).

Actually, I am very interested in the U of Missouri. Their application deadline isn't until November, though, so I am concentrating on the schools with October 2nd deadlines.

You left out Iowa State, University of Wisconsin, and possibly University of Illinois and NC State.

My exotics teacher is going to leave LSU (Waaaa!*sniff sniff*) and going over to University of Illinois... he's very good at what he does (exotics and epidemiology, right now interested in conservation medicine).
