THIS EPISODE KILLED MY OTP. I WILL NEVER STOP SOBBING.
Rufus was so amazing and hilarious and dammit, now there are no black people left. Lol, there are no minority characters left at all. Well, I guess Raphael kind of counts, but I would trade Raphael for Rufus in a second.
I knew Rufus was going to go but WHY SPN WHY?! *sobs* When Gwen died I was like, 'so that's what the title means!' and then I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Sampa to bite it. The only thing that took away my pleasure of that moment was the look on Sam's face. This episode=more angst for Sam & Dean (so, really, nothing new).
I liked this ep, it reminded of x-files with the ear wormy thing (yuck), though I found kinda-possessed(?) Bobby lulzy (maybe Jim needed to lose the hat). It also reminded me of seasons past, so I couldn't ask for more than that.
The preview isn't just one ep is it? *so confused* BUT OMG YES MOAR COWBOY SAM & DEAN NOWWWWWW. Cowboy SamnDean will be a most excellent early bday present for me because it's all about me!;) I CAN"T WAIT!!
WHYYYYYYYYY DID RUFUS HAVE TO DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE /cries
hey, the earworm thing reminded me of x-files too! it was quite creepy and gross :D i found it hard to cocentrate on possessed!bobby's voice though. i found it funny instead of scary, haha!
Having Rufus around this episode was great; he had many great lines that made me smile. He brought such a great and interesting dynamic with him, both in regards to his history with Bobby, but also how he carried himself. He seemed such secure in his own skin, and as you say was bamf, but he also had a sadness too him. He’s a great character I will miss.
man, i'm going to miss rufus so much! like you said, he definitely added an interesting dynamic to the mix, and it was excellent to find out more about his rich relationship with bobby. i'm disappointed that the writers found it fit to immerse us viewers further into rufus' character by providing bits and pieces about his background, and then killing him once he'd played his part :/ i will miss him so much!
