The other day I was thinking of the Raphael thing. Gabriel got out of the fire ring, so obviously Raphael could, too, and he was SO SET on tracking Dean down and wasting him or whatever it was he said. How come Gabriel found them already and Raphael hasn't even been mentioned?

i agree with everything you said in your comment! i love sam, but i want the writers to be consistent. castiel and the other angels have made such a huge deal about dean being the important one that it would be hypocritical to just have a re-run of last season's finale.

i think the writers kind of messed up after they found out they were being renewed for another season. the pacing is just so off! they could've either stretched it out to next season, or just made everything tighter and better. right now it's all over the place.

jesse definitely needs to show up again because otherwise his character will just be pointless. and i hope we have cas next season! i know ultimately the show is about sam and dean, but it's always great to see them interacting with other characters.

I see where you're coming from about Sam. And I haven't really thought about it like that, but I guess I'm just a blind follower. And yeah, he may be in-genuine, but maybe that's who he is, and you don't have to like him for it. I mean sure, that's a bad trait, obviously, but I still like him. Love that kid, in fact, and maybe the writers are just having him stay in-character. Not everyone changes for the better, even or especially when you need or expect them to.

i love sam, but i find it hypocritical of his character to say certain things and not follow through with his actions.

all the characters in this show are flawed, and that's part of why we love them, but i don't know how the brothers can work towards a healthy relationship in the next season if the writers end up having another re-hash of the s4 ending and the first half of s5, y'know?
