i haven't read the 2 spn fics you mentioned, but you should ask on spnstoryfinders. i'm sure someone will have links for you :)

Hi! Excuse me for barging into your journal, but if lovesfiction hasn't found the second story yet (the SPN story where Sam sacrifices himself to a demon to save John and Dean, who then binds him to silence) I have the links: the story is by vaingirlfic, and the first part is Outside By the Blue, Blue Moon, and the second part is Season Of the Witch.

And by the way, thank you for your recs lists -- I've followed them by way of the SPN newsletter and discovered a lot of stories that I would have missed otherwise.
