Anyway, I live right on a tree-lined street, so every time someone walks by, I hear that crunch-crunch and it's so FALL. I totally step on leaves, too.

i have this compulsion to stop on as many crunchy leaves as i can without deviating TOO much from my path. since i like making sure i don't step on cracks in the sidewalk, all together i often look like a drunken sailor..

Ooooooooo! The mehndi is so gorgeous! I just bought some premixed henna and henna'd myself and my friends this weekend... but we're uncool and it was for a Disneyland trip, lol! I've only done it a handful of times and I'm still getting used to how to control it, but it's so much fun ^^

And the saris... they're SO GORGEOUS. My roommate and I wanna wear saris, but I'm massively white and she's pretty much mexican, so we'd feel like posers :(

isn't the mehndi cute? my friend's cousin did it in less than 5 mins! she was unhappy with it b/c the tube had run out by that point and the lines were turning out much wider than she wanted. i can't do mehndi designs for shit so i was MORE than happy with her work ;)

i don't understand why some ppl get offended when they see those of other cultures/backgrounds wear their traditional clothing. i totally think you and your friend should wear sarees if you want - i bet you'd both look pretty!

i finally had mehndi done after almost 2 yrs, so i was very happy too, hee!

and thanks about the eyeshadow - it's quite easy to do, and i'm hoping to post a tutorial very soon so all of you can try it out yourself :D
