So here I sit at work, where I spent the night sleeping at my desk...

Nearly. My dad LEFT ME here. AFTER I WAITED FOUR-POINT-FIVE HOURS EXTRA JUST TO RIDE WITH HIM.

Can't even blame the monkeys for being left behind this time.

Circa 6:07 am
Me: I'm walking home tonight, Dad.
Him: Oh, no, you're not.
Me: Okay.Is it so out of character for me to ( Read more... )

Wow, you got left behind? Ouch.
Yes, it is rather uncharacteristic to give in easily...not never done, but unusual, for you.
It does make for an interesting story, though...camping in the office building... (I told you the story about the student who lived in the newspaper office from the haunted tour, right?)

Don't get too cold walking. Today, I didn't even want to walk to class, since I was freezing (mostly because I'm more susceptible right now, due to sleep deprivation and illness...which also factors in to not wanting to walk...)

Have fun at the deli. ^_^

Kaa-san emailed me. She didn't put it that bluntly, though. Said Esther was back in the hospital with another bowel obstruction and the doctors are doing what they can (one thing, and it ain't much) because she can't take chemo and she's too weak. Thank you for telling me, as well.

*nice music...he a coworker of yours, I assume?

Yeah, you told me about that guy. Probably have to tell me again when you're home.

We had a warm weekend. Freezing now. Wiped out on my bike once, with the icy roads, and then slid for about ten feet...it was fun.

Good luck this week! Heard about your lack of sleep earlier, aie-yi-yi, girl. Anyway, thinking of you and hoping all goes well. =)

Yeah, coworker is the word, I suppose. He's what I get to listen to all day.

Girl. The student living in the newpaper office was a girl. :P

Yes, it was...until sunday evening when the wind picked up and turned the wet spots on the sidewalk to ice...which was amusing. I was laughing my head off every time I slid. It is freezing today, yes. And I just got back from walking down main street to the Whole Earth.

You wiped out??? Be more careful!
sliding is fun, though...

Thank you.
Yeah, I know...but now that my English is DONE, getting little sleep won't happen anymore. (Except for roommate reasons, which I why I didn't get to sleep until after midnight Sat night...and after 11 last night...ie--my main reason for losing sleep...)
I hope all goes well, too.

Ew. That's too bad. Give him a pack of cough drops for his cough and some soap for his tongue for the holidays. >:D

Ah, so maybe I should visit her in the night with a sharp little knife...>:D Or just duct tape.

Oops! Being left behind isn't fun at all. Or being stuck in a dull place.

I had just read blck_phnx's entry -- is this Esther a family member of yours? I will pray for her and your family for this situation. I'm sorry to hear news about her.

This seems to happen to me too often...

Yes, she is our great aunt. Thank you for the prayers--she's had cancer, and her treatment hasn't been going well, so we have been expecting it.
