((ooc: There's a nice blackboard to go with this: here. Bernard has gone and put two and two together - remarkably making four, having seen what's happened to Kirk et al, and Ethan's post... p.s. I also know Shego and Bernard haven't got this far. I wanted to do it before I left for the library.))Okay, okay. Vaguely literary folk of the Barge (yes ( Read more... )

Write to them? I'm to take from this that one has to write in the offending volume?

...Can one not just...use a series of Post-It notes? This is sacrilege.

I know, I know. Trust me, I hate doing it. But it's better than them making an entire butchery of the story, isn't it?

Post-its?

I can start using pencil to ease your conscience if you like.

...er. Alice in Wonderland, did you say it was called?

I found another copy, in the library - there's that Kirk bloke, but...Annie's in it, too, and someone called Sam?

I can't find anything that'll undo this. The only magic books I've dealt with aren't actually literally in-and-of-themselves magic.

Yes, I'm glad you can read... There's two copies? Whereabouts in the story are they? I'll look for them in mine.

If you know the story, write to them and try to keep the story going. Unless they die in it. Then you might want to do some changing.

They're...a bit later on than the others. Sorry, I'd never even heard of this book before today, so...

...

Do you not think that getting them out of the book is a bit more important than keeping the story going? This is really not right.

I have found them!

...I don't know how to get them out of the book. So I'm looking after the narrative until one of you magical folks figures this one out.
