Murphy's Law and the anthropic principle

Yes, I am firmly convinced that the anthropic principle is the causative force behind Murphy's Law. I posted a blurb about this on Facebook, but that medium is only really good for one-liners. Here, I offer a more detailed explanation, using a common manifestation of Murphy's Law:

Hold on. Are you saying that I, a relatively tall humanoid - 6'4" - am less intelligent than those squirts I see all around me every day? :-)

I note that your theory cannot be applied to the well-known fact that a cat always lands on its feet ... no matter the height from which it is dropped?
