Just a small point before I have to run away: the Next/Back buttons are still there, just moved.

Top right, above the item you are reading.

Very far away from the item you are reading. And also, you have to click inside the frame to change the focus, or else you space down to read further and end up on the next unread item.

This Annoys me.

Thank you for this! The new Reader interface is killing me. The controls are just too big; there is no room for the actual content anymore.

Sidebar gone? I still see it. Are you talking about an app? Did you perhaps hide the sidebar (keyboard shortcut "u") or get into full screen mode (keyboard shortcut "f")?

What are you using these days in terms of native mail clients?

For work, I use Thunderbird+Lightning (linux) or Outlook (windows). For home (OS) I use Sparrow or Thunderbird - mostly Thunderbird lately, since some of the new additions to Sparrow don't sit well with me - and iCal. For mobile (iOS) I use the builtin mail & calendar apps.

I'm tempted to go back to bloglines (having only moved over to Google Reader when it looked like bloglines was going away), but of course, bloglines looks all different now so I'll have to play with it a bit and see if I still like it.

I'll have to give OwlRSS a try, too.
