It's been about two months since I've posted a video and truth be told, I feel like shit about it. I know there's no deadline or requirement to do these, but I just feel.... Oh. My. God. This is so beautiful Alyssa. It made me cry. They are so gorgeous, and this video made me realise just how much i miss them and how amazingly happy they could really make each other if they just opened up their hearts a little more to one another. Clearly, House already did.

2:37-2:40 - I can't even express how much i love that transition.

2:56 - HER MOUTH. And the way you fit that with the song. That shot just stayed with me. ♥ ♥

I absolutely love Gavin Degraw and this is one of my favourite songs of his. Wow, i never noticed how perfect it was for them! The lyrics are gorgeous.

OH. And i almost forgot to say, the way House looks at her at 2:50, it kills me.

Also, is this version from the Stripped album? I have both, but I haven't listened to the Stripped versions in so long that I can't remember them anymore. I need to find that CD. :(

Also, don't feel bad about how often you post. It's your community. Post when you want to. If people don't like it, they can suck it. This is the internet. I hardly EVER post icons in my community anymore. :/

Also, this version of the song probably explains your rhythm confusion that you had (that is not evident in the finished thing). Usually when you just have a solo (vocals in this case) with accompaniment (piano), you don't have to follow a specific timing. The accompaniment just follows what the solo instrument does, and the solo goes with what feels right, rather than a specific beat. :/

Gorgeously, stunningly, perfectly lovely. It actually makes what he hallucinated all the more convincing, somehow, like we see another level of how real it all felt to House, and how her reactions in Both Sides Now fit with that right until the end, when it finally clicked. I love the optimistic note, and I really think there's no denying that the whole experience just proves the depth of House's feelings for Cuddy, something you've brought to life in the most exquisite way.

I've been thinking about this song since Mia did her routine to it during Vegas week on SYTYCD (but the version you used seems to be the original version of the song?), and I can't even believe how well the song fits with this perspective on the finale. I think your emphasis on the visuals instead of the storyline really does give the sense of a dream-like mode - I really like how you did that ( ... )
