so there is a very slight possibility that i could move into the building next door to my work, and it has two floors of living space, and my rent would go down to around $270/m...
it really varies...i mean, in the same town right now i pay almost $400/m (but that is with only one other roommate...i will be having two roommates next month after moving). but yes! i suppose it's generally cheaper than other parts of the east coast. plus it's pretty and wonderful and perfect! hah.
Very nice! Hopefully it works out. That's a great price! Yowza! Are you the type of person that likes moving, hates moving, or is neutral? I've been wanting to move so badly lately. We've lived in this apartment for nearly 5 years!
hmm, well...i have moved about 10 times since 1998, it would be nice to stay in a place longer than 2 years (longest so far - the current apartment and the last one i had in chicago)and i'm so disorganized that moving can be a huge ordeal...but, i do like the chance to "start over" in a new place. but i say move if you are feeling cramped or bored with your place!

There are so many nice old homes in Maine...
I say go for it! The wood floors are nice - does the fireplace work?
