Climate change is manifesting in a lot of ways lately. Your rapini is flowering too fast; my fall-planted Chinese greens bolted in November. (Normally they would feed me all winter long.) Birds are confused too - we still have Brown Pelicans, which ought to be down your way and parts south, and also Ospreys hanging around.
