Eh, I don't think I quite got there with a likeness, but it was so spur of the moment and I felt so inspired, it kind of didn't really matter to me, I just felt so compelled to draw him. Thank you!

i watched on saturday and i every day since ive woken up wondering why m not watching it again, right right now D: i need to get my hands on the book, but i gotta finish the one im reading at the moment so ive been reading fan fic instead, and listening to playlists on 8tracks.

The audio book is okay, but I have to say it gets really bogged down in sciency stuff that goes over my head. BUT STILL, it's good. I need to watch it again!

Ohhhhh I love it!!! (And I love to hear you're listening to the audiobook, so I don't feel bad about my "it's-so-good!!!!!!" rant earlier :-P)

I really love the pastels (..that's what I mean, right? Those waxy crayon-like things?), it's so cool to see how it looks kind of, idk, fluid? Yeah, there's a fluidity to the picture that's really fucking cool and is awesome in the context of THEY'RE IN SPACE and so everything should be hard lines and sterile and gleaming....except no, cuz here's a real human. Idk, I'm not an art critic in the slightest, just wanted to drop in and say a little more than "This is cool" :D

The audio book was wonderful though I admit the sciency stuff went over my head. But the determination and the will to survive and the dogged carrying on forward? YES. Competence kink engaged!
