Yay for Y&Y although such a shame that the sound was dodgy. I'm going to see them in October with chaosmacken and junkshopdisco and I cannot wait!!

Very late to reading things, and only reading them now bc I have a big project due TODAY so WHY NOT PROCRASTINATE WITH MONTH-OLD LJ POSTS

but

In my own Y&Y obsession (thanks for that) I click on all the clips from shows and notice the sound is almost always terrible. Like, it's so upsetting I sometimes just watch the clips on mute to see Olly move around but can't bear to hear the sound so butchered or his voice drowned out or the general balance of inputs so fucking off. Do you (or others) notice this too? Or am I just taking smartphone videorecordings too seriously? idk. The album is so well produced and they're so awesome I just want everyone who hears them to know how AWESOME they are and not have a reason to say "this sounds terrible."

(Also--BIG shout out to you for Will Smith on your playlist. I get more crap for having his tunes on motivational playlists than anything--but honestly, I can't NOT move when it's the WILLENNIUM and I'm going to Miami and ESPECIALLY when Switch is on! [turn it over and hit it!]) <3 ( ... )

ahhhhh same! I have two things due this week so clearly hosting a commentfest was the best course of action :D
