eta: FUCK. Now I feel like I have to explain!!!! I grew up in in an occupied country and remember life under a state of emergency where everyone was indoors by 10pm, where there were riots and people got killed and life was really unpredictable and scary for a kid, you know? When I saw this movie... it just. It really hit me so fucking hard. So hard. Like, took me back there. And I realised some things about myself. So yeah.

My dad took me to see Poltergeist when I was nine. NINE YEARS OLD. He's the shittest and bestest parent :D and D: I've included this film because it explains my fear of clowns and swimming pools.

Wow, that is every nine-year-old's dream come true right there (minus the phobia after-effects). I think most people on earth are terrified of clowns. I was too, until I lived with one (then I realized that they are all stoners).
