In Iowa

Every time I spend some time in the Midwest I am still surprised by these two things:

- How flat it is and how straight their roads are.
- How nice the people here are

What parts of the Midwest have you visited?
Do you think that people in the Midwest are not nice?
Do you consider Oklahoma the Midwest or do you consider it in the south?

I think that people in the Midwest are the nicest and friendliest in the US. Much, much, much nicer than where i live at. They are not rude, but at the same time not friendly.

I lived in Wisconsin and I ndiana for a while and when I moved to PA I noticed the change in people. Never been to Oklahoma though. To me it is still the Midwest.

And I agree. Especially the people part. :)

Don't know if I ever mentioned that to you, but a chunk of my heart is still in Edmonton from a couple of lifetimes ago. One of those " what could have been but never was....".

it depends on where in the midwest you are... for both things

but yes, iowa is special :) i love it there
