Prompt #11: Writing letters to Father Christmas
Scorpius whacked a notebook down onto the table in front of Albus. Albus looked up curiously. “What’s this?”
“Its a notebook.”
“I can see that. What do I need another notebook for?”
Scorpius slid into the chair across from Albus’ and smirked. “I’m thinking we should write letters to Santa.”
Albus lifted an eyebrow. “You do know that Santa isn’t real, right?”
“Of course,” Scorpius scoffed. “But see, instead of shoving them into the mailbox, we give them to each other.”
“Ah,” Albus smiled. “I see where this is going. So you write a big list of everything you want for Christmas and I have to deliver all those things to you on Christmas morning.”
“Yes, but it works both ways.” Scorpius said.
“Can I ask for naughty gifts?”
“Those were the kind I was hoping for.”

Prompt #12: Christmas Cards
“Whose idea was it to make our own cards? I feel like I’m in second grade,” Albus mused as he slopped some glue over the back of a green Christmas tress and pressed it down against red cardboard. He slid the card to Scorpius who sprinkled gold glitter all over the tree.
“I feel like a really messed up Christmas fairy.”
“You look like a Christmas fairy,” Albus laughed. “You have glitter everywhere. How many times have you wiped you face?”
“My nose is itchy,” Scorpius complained, rubbing it with his forehead. The action was futile, he was already covered in sparkling gold glitter.

Prompt #13: Jingle Bells
“Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid and egg.” Lily sang.
“Yeah!” Albus encouraged.
“Rudolph got a forty-four and shot him in the head. Bang!” she continued at the top of her lungs. “Barbie dolls, Barbie dolls, tried to save his life. But GI Joe the eskimo, stabbed him with his knife.”
Albus laughed and clapped. “That was awesome Lily.”
Scorpius looked at them both over the top of his magazine. “That was rather violent... and they say that wizarding songs are bad.”
“That isn’t the actual lyrics to Jingle Bells,” Albus smiled. “It’s just some version that Muggle kids made up.”
“Oh.” Scorpius paused. “Sing it for me again.”

Prompt #14: Ice skating
It was cold outside. Standing on the edge of the frozen lake, Albus tucked his hands deep into the pockets of his coat and watched his breath puff out in soft clouds before drifting away with the wind. Scorpius was halfway across the lake by now, skating as fast as he could across the surface, his laughter floating back to Albus.
Albus stepped carefully out onto the ice and slid a little in his sneakers. He shuddered, no way was he going any further than this.
“Come on, Albus,” Scorpius shouted. He skated back to Albus and reached out his hands to grab Albus by the shoulders and stop himself from sliding past.
Albus caught the nape of Scorpius’s neck with a gloved hand and pressed their lips together.

Prompt #15: Finding the perfect gift
“How about this one?”
Scorpius wrinkled his nose. “No. Not that one.”
Rose pointed to a the second broomstick kit. “What about this one?”
Scorpius shook his head. “Nope.”
“Well that’s the last one,” Rose sighed. “You’ll have to choose one, Scorpius.”
“None of the are right,” Scorpius complained. “If I’m going down the casual road and buying Albus a broomstick kit then it has to be perfect.”
“Who says you have to go down the casual road?” Rose asked. She dragged him over to the jewelry display and pointed at a thin silver cuff. “Buy that for Albus. Get the inside engraved with something nice.”
“You don’t think its too much?”
“I think its perfect, and I know you do to.”
