Jen lets the porch door close softly behind her as she steps out onto the deck, Guinness in hand. Jaime is sleeping in a basket the living room and the baby monitor is tucked into the back pocket of Jenny's jeans. Without saying anything, she leans her forearms on the raining and looks out at the landscape.

For a moment, she just looks over at Jenny, looking at this woman she loves through the eyes of the storm. Despite the lighting in the distance, they are peaceful here. No matter the stress, they are peaceful and it is good for both of them. "I'm glad you stayed," she finally says softly. "And not just for my own selfish reasons."

She looks over at Liz and smiles. "I could stay longer if I wanted. I technically get three months." Right now, she doesn't want to go back, but she's tired and her brain has shut down for the day. Her thoughts will change in the morning when she's reading her emails. There's a backlog to work though.

Liz offers a slight chuckle and smile and then turns more, sitting most of her weight on the railing. "I'd keep you here forever if I thought you'd be happy." But they both know that isn't in the cards and they're both okay with that.
