OMG.

OH MY GOD. This was so...touching but yes, so insane. This was also very brilliant, because I could see him doing this more than a lot of fics I've read. This, I can just see.

And it's just so sad. I think it actually brought tears to my eyes.

I love it.

Ooh wow thank you!!! I was so excited about this idea and had to write it, so I'm pleased you like it! I love the religious parallels they have.

Awww thank you again! ^_^

Oh wow. Tammy you've outdone yourself. Everything about this fic is just so perfectly done. The pacing, the style, it's just so gorgeously sad and touching. I love the descriptions in this, the way you describe the dotting of stars and the darkness of her bedroom. Again the details in this are incredible and just SO lyrical. I love it!

Crazy is crazy, is "off his muthah fucking rocker".

I like the end where she says she feels bad for him, but she owes him nothing (which is so very true). Oh dark and bitter and CRAZY!

What was Maya talking about "Her child"? ;)

LOL1 Just a bit but I hope it's reasonable why. (I loved researching this! I was like ooooh he breathed on her! lol *dork*)

Exactly. I wanted her to come across as kinda mellow and possibly showing forgiveness but in the end still "why should I care after what you did?"

Heehee, had to get a mention in there ;)

Whoa, what a deliciously disturbing premise. He's unhinged enough when he's actually in his right mind; totally scary to think of how he might be if he actually lost it. This was really creepy and sad at the same time--of all the different timelines and incarnations of Sylar/Gabriel, this one is the one who deserved this kind of tragedy the least, since he was making a genuine effort to reform. Poor Gabe. Really great work! :)

YAY! Thank you so much for reading it! :D

I'm kinda turn about f!Gabe. On one hand I feel so, so sad for him because like you say he really is making an effort to be different and is empathetic and loving. But then on the other it rubs me up the wrong way that he's not held responsible for all the killings, not punished etc and gets to have a very comfortable looking life (aside from fighting The Hunger)

Or maybe I just like him wallowing in angst. But yeah what I was trying to get across that he's clutching hard to this obsession about Maya because without it, or his son, all he’s got is being Sylar.

Yeah, that's a really good point about future!Gabe not suffering any consequences for his actions (though of course, that's par for the course on this show). You know, something that I always thought a little odd was that, aside from the subplot with Audrey in season one, and the bit in season two about Gabriel being a suspect in his mother's death, there was never really much indication that the "normal" authorities were trying to track Sylar down. Given that by the end of volume three he's killed something like thirty or forty people, you would think there would be a lot bigger emphasis on catching him. Sure, he's got a ton of superpowers but it's not like he's ever really careful about his murders or tries to cover his tracks. I'll bet he's left a fingerprint or two or some DNA lying around ( ... )

Good point! Maybe Angela covered it up somehow? I remember Audrey saying that there wasn’t any fingerprints, as he killed with TK (most of the time, sometimes he didn‘t take their power. I always wondered of that was because he got cold feet.)

Like Chandra knew he was murderer, did he go to the police? And then there’s Eden living next door and apparently not doing anything…

Aww, its like domestic bliss and then tragedy. Poor little boy! I always envision Gabe as a single parent, I just don’t think Noah had a mother (that’s why he looks rather subdued, in my AU canon ;__;)

I was absolutely terrified for Maya the whole time.

But now you've piqued my interest in the Qu'ran version of the story. It sounds a lot more interesting than what's in the Bible, that's for sure.

Thanks for reading! He wouldn't have hurt her but I wanted it to be like "will he/won't he/what the heck is he doing?" lol

It is really interesting. The actual breathing part depends on the translation. Google books brings up some versions of it.
