lol, I had to try and make sense of it myself. His Muahahaha “give me your power” shtick is even more unnecessary now that canon says he shouldn‘t have been like that. And IMO he killed Ale because he was taking Maya away, not because of her power (which I've always believed anyway).

I loved that he felt so guilty that he offered to let her hurt him--and I loved just as much that she didn't let her desire for vengeance overpower her humanity. Great tension in that bit! And a very bittersweet ending. Nice work!

I love that he has the emotional capacity to actually display it truthfully, in that timeline. Before I wasn’t sure if he could, or if he could it be woobie but I'm so glad that he can! Gives you more to play with, more depth. Yeah I don't think she'd do it, even if she wants him punished.
