For the curious, and the amount the tree service is charging to do the job, I took some pictures of what we are having completely removed, stumps and all...

ALL this mess growing by the fence behind the house. You can barely see the back of the house to the right.
So, one can see where the $2,800 estimate for removal is justified in my opinion. NOT a "small job" by any means!
