I want to focus my cosplay energy on personal outfits, Disney or cartoon cosplay, or Renaissance outfits. ♥
That sounds awesome! :3 And yeah, I understand about the cosplay thing; I pretty much only do it when friends ask me to fill roles (like Maylene, hahah) because while I have fun with them I don't have much motivation to do it on my own anymore :/
I totally understand how you feel. Anime just doesn't hold the same spark it used to for me. I've been focusing on more old-school stuff recently because of it.
But I totally encourage doing outfits for yourself or renaissance stuff. I am like a huge history nerd and making historical outfits or going to ren faires is what got me into cosplay in the first place. It's definitely rewarding so I say go for it! ♥

Dont worry about it; cosplay is a hobby. Anime is an interest. People move on or grow out of those things all the time. Most people arnt interested/doing the same things they were years ago, its ok to move on. And find that something that does 'spark' your inspiration. I hope that you find it.
I know ive had my cosplay funks too, where I just really didnt care/wasnt into it... and I can say anything changed or one thing made me 'realize' or what not... I just came back into it. I deffinitly think taking things slower and making sure you're doing everything for yourself is top priority. Its not good to burn yourself out over one thing, regardless of what it is.
