No. I can read it passably well, but I have no clue about pronunciation. I would very much enjoy studying it though. It is on my to do list now!

Canada is lovely, I highly recommend! Even if you do not speak French Montreal is full of English-speakers, but you do not want to go there right off. There is a special form and extra fees to move to Quebec straight away.

I am very much enjoying Ontario. Very good quality of life and the economy is strong in my region still. Excellent medical care here as well.

That is exactly the sort of thing I wanted to know. Too bad. I do like the idea of Quebec. At least the weather of Ontario is better, eh?

Part of my reasoning for Quebec is the French Canadian thing. In any case I am going to study it now, rather than *think* of studying it.

My family alway liked Canada a lot. I have been there on family holidays for example. Mum prefers it to the US, and more than me going to Spain.

I read French passably. I have very little clue with pronunciation though :/ I would actually enjoy studying it.

You can still move to Quebec once you are here, especially if you moved to somewhere like Ottawa which is near the border and has bilingual folks. The extra paperwork is only if you want to move there directly :-)
