Theme: July Writing Prompt 2014 #14 - July 14
Prompt: All For One And One For All. Have any three characters cooperate to overcome some obstacle. Bonus points if they are characters that don't normally interact and/or work well with each other.

John grins smugly, his arms folded in front of his chest and he leans back against the pillows. Despite the big white bandage around his head he looks nothing less than superior, as his eyes wander over the three people standing in front of his bed.
"So, I have a very simple mission for you," John starts looking from Mycroft, over Mrs. Hudson and then to Lestrade. "Get Sherlock out of here."
"What?" Lestrade asks surprised and Mrs. Hudson's hand flutters to her throat in suprirse, while Mycroft just sniffs haughtily. "Really, John, I have-"
"I could not care less what you have, Mycroft, " John interrupts, prompting Mycroft to lift a single, elegant eyebrow. "Sherlock's running up the walls in here, but he is unwilling to leave.
It is not good for his health or for the state of his mind. Not to mention the fact that it is not good for my state of mind.
As such I entrust you three with the following tasks -"
He points at Mycroft. "You will get him to actually leave the hospital."
John then points at Lestrade. "You will get him to do anything for you at the Yard or anywhere in London."
After this John points at Mrs. Hudson in the middle of the two men. "You will get him to stay at Baker Street and making sure that he eats, drinks and rests."
After his proclamations John leans back in the bed, as all three start to talk and raise their voices to be heard.
John just cocks his head and his lips spread to a big grin, showing his teeth and looking not friendly at all.
All three fall silent seeing this and John nods to each of them. "If you do not do as I wish I will have to fall back on some... not-good things to do.
Remember that I live with a self-proclaimed high-functioning sociopath who currently is very, very, very bored.
What do you think he is capable of doing if I unleash him on you?"
"Unleash him?" Lestrade murmurs incredulously, while Mycroft just shakes his head.
"And you believe this to be effective blackmail?"
John's grin broaden, sending an uneasy tingle through everyone's spine. "Try me."
The three exchange glances when the door opens and a nurse enters. "Sorry, I have to re-check the bandage. Would you please step outside?"
John cheekily waves after them and the door closes behind them, all three staring at it.
"DId he seriously...?" starts Lestrade and Mrs. Hudsons pats his shoulder. "Yes, dear, he did."
Mycroft massages his temple and sighs loudly through his nose. "Very well. I will come back to speak with Sherlock and he will return to Baker Street this evening.
This alright with you, Mrs. Hudson?"
Mrs. Hudson weighs her head lightly, tipping a finger against her chin. "It gives me enough time to prepare his favourite dinner, so yes, it works quite well.
Shall I make breakfest for two then tomorrow morning, Detective Inspector?"
"Yeah, yeah, that would be nice," Lestrade says and rubs his head. "I should be able to find something, if only some copious paperwork, insisting he has to fill out.
Or some other thing to keep him occupied for a few hours. I will get him back for dinner then."
Mrs. Hudson nods and turns around to leave, her two new found conspirators following.
And inside the room John lies back with a satisfied smirk on his lips.
Mission accomplished!
