A/N: Nothing fancy, but I do believe I found a way to include the first prompt - I just might turn it into a memory/look back.
But now I have to crawl back into bed... got a stomachache. ;(

And that on my first day of vacation. Brilliant... *hugs her hot water bottle*

The train is racing through the landscape and only the hum of the machines can be heard within their cabin.
John looks out of the window, his eyes lost in thought and Sherlock is able to study him without interruption.

This is the first case outside of London that John comes along with and Sherlock can feel a deeply buried unease about that thought.
Not so long ago Sherlock made a blunder, which resulted in John's wounded leg.

Thankfully it was nothing major, just a slip, but nevertheless it was a pratfall in Sherlock's eyes.
He does not make mistakes and he had to do a double-take to see where he had gone wrong.

He has to be careful and consider all possibilities; he has to calculate every step they are going to take over the next few days.
Sherlock can not allow the happening of a similiar miscalculation - especially not if there is such a high price to pay.

Suddenly Sherlock becomes aware of blue eyes watching him and John cocks a curious, but also worried eyebrow, silencly asking him what he is thinking about.
Never before did Sherlock know a person who could understand him so easily.
Who trusted him so easily.

It becomes ever more important for him to not make any further mistakes concerning his blogger.
