Watson's Woes Chall20

My entries for the Watson's Woes Challenge20 (one sentence for different verses)

Just going to copy my post from there (yeah, I am lazy :P)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here are my entries for the Challenge20; several sentences to each category. :)
Sadly had no time to think of more…
Hope you like them! And sorry for any grammatical errors; it’s worse to get one sentence right than a whole story. XD
Be warned, there are some spoilery aspects for BBC Sherlock Season 2 and Sherlock Holmes 2!
ACD bookverse
Title: Heart Beat
Author: Alaylith
Universe: ACD bookverse
Rating: G
When Holmes reappeared after his death, the reason why Watson fainted was not that his heart stopped - it was that his heart started beating again.
Title: Bad Shot
Author: Alaylith
Universe: ACD bookverse
Rating: G
Watson is glad that Killer Evans is a bad shooter and only hit him, because he clearly remembers how Evans aimed and tried to shoot Holmes.
Granada televisionverse
Title: First emotion
Author: Alaylith
Universe: Granada televisionverse
Rating: G
The first emotion was not happiness which Watson felt when Holmes called him by his given name; it was fear that the drug managed to destroy the mind of his best friend.
Title: Wishing
Author: Alaylith
Universe: Granada televisionverse
Rating: G
A/N: Doesn't we wish it all... ;(
As the knife burned his shoulder Watson wished it was not the voice of the older Holmes’ calling his name in fright.
RDJ movieverse
Title: Reichenbach Tears
Author: Alaylith
Universe: RDJ movieverse
Rating: G
Warning: Spoilers for the second movie!
A/N: One of my favourites scenes; both closing their eyes… I think Watson felt with Holmes in that moment…
Closing his eyes after seeing Holmes’ fall, Watson could swear that he was feeling the drops of the Reichenbach Falls on his cheeks, but realized it were only his silent tears.
Title: Single Thought
Author: Alaylith
Universe: RDJ movieverse
Rating: G
A/N: Clarky knew Watson was alive, so he had to check him first and then why would he leave an injured man behind if not because Watson urged him to?
When gentle hands touch his shoulders and his ears still ring from the explosion deafening him, Watson is only able to murmur a single name. “Holmes…”
BBC Sherlockverse
Title: Grave
Author: Alaylith
Universe: BBC Sherlockverse
Rating: G
Warning: Not-really-Spoilers for Season 2 (Baskerville episode)
A/N: First thing that came to mind, but I do not like the sentence... But I just love this part of the episode, gonna have to look for fanstories about it (or write something myself).
As John hears the footsteps on the gravel, he wonders if Sherlock is more interested in the century old grave monument he sits on or himself.
Title: Bumper Car
Author: Alaylith
Universe: BBC Sherlockverse
Rating: G
A/N: It wasn’t my first thought (I think it was “Okay, you just had your first car accident, girl - stay calm”), but it really was one of the first few thoughts right after the crash.
It feels like bumper car is the one silly thought which crosses John’s mind as the red car crashes into his cab, throwing him painfully against the opposite door.
Title: Single Tear
Author: Alaylith
Universe: BBC Sherlockverse
Rating: G
Even though he knows it is not possible, John knows for sure that he saw the single tear on Sherlock’s cheek even at that distance and feels even more ashamed that he shed not one himself for Sherlock to see.
Miscellaneous universes (The Great Mouse)
Title: Trust
Author: Alaylith
Universe: The Great Mouse (movie)
Rating: G
A/N: As the video is somewhere in a box, I am unable to rewatch the movie or I would have tried more. And I hope I remember the scene correctly…
Never before had Dawson trusted anyone with his life like this, as he waited with shaking hands for Basil’s order to set the trap in action.
