I am so, so glad that I forked out the money for a courier - my DVDs arrived this afternoon and I've watched the first one already. Thank you beizy for the screencaps - I'm way too lazy to make my own

oh! I haven't heard enough about these new dvds to know whether or not they're worth buying. Is the behind the scenes stuff different? different interviews and stuff? my husband is just gonna think i've lost my ever lovin mind if i get more of these movies. (i have the tr and the se)
I'm not sure that I'm the best person to be asking about this, because I have the collecting instincts of a magpie and a fair disposable income, but I think they're worth it, just on the FOTR disc alone. The extra material is fascinating if you are interested in behind-the-scenes stuff. It's not structured, like the EE interviews were (some of this footage was used to supplement those interviews) - it's just a fly-on-the-wall view of making the films. Given that they are not very expensive ($17) I think any real fan of the films will be sorely disappointed if they don't buy them.
I'll let you know what discs 2 and 3 are like later tonight (about 15 hours from now).
I know I'm a bit late to this post, but I don't know if I ever saw the interview where he talked about wearing glasses. Do you know if anyone has a clip or a transcript of it?
Thank you for commenting - I haven't been ignoring you, but I'm away from home at the moment and internet access is sporadic.
The interview was October last year (I think, anyway - might have been July) - Dom didn't actually talk about it. He was talking about being a funny guy, and he held up his drivers licence to the camera - they had blacked out the address, but it clearly stated that corrective lenses had to be worn when diving. I think that was the first time anyone realised he wore glasses/lenses.
Unfortunately I didn't copy any video to the laptop (except Billy's scenes from UGS because I can't live without them!) so I can't send you the file.
