I'm not sure if any of you have seen this article but it's Lois McMaster Bujold on the subject of fanfiction. Very interesting (and very tolerant). In fact her whole website is worth exploring.

Character-driven space opera FTW. The Warrior's Apprentice and Memory are in my top five favorite books. I can't wait for the new one. (I hope there's Ivan within!)
