the main reason I try to stay away from bookstores with physical buildings: I dropped by barnes & ignoble tonight to very quickly pick up a birthday book or two or three for my mom, since today's the day. Finally got the Zen Micro to work. Turns out that unlike, oh, 90% of the software/hardware I've ever seen that's included an installation disc, Zen Micros don't need that or any of the software on it. Or perhaps they do need that, but only if you have WinXP. I'm too tired to be sure. I'd just like to smack people in charge of Creative's website ( Read more... ) -

Finally bought a (shiny and red! black and white) Zen Micro on Thursday night, along with an expensive standard a/c charger, mostly because I was able to do the buying online (for $35 or so less than retail) and pick it up at Circuit City about an hour or 90 minutes later.
